What does it mean for Jesus to be Leader and Saviour?

Acts 5:31 (ESV)

31 God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

As the Leader (or Prince), Jesus is God’s Messiah who shares in his authority. As Saviour, Jesus is the one who delivers from evil.1
