1. Psalm 141:1 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

Commentary on Psalm 141:1 (Summary)

Psalm 141:1 (ESV)

1 O LORD, I call upon you; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to you!

This first verse makes clear that the need of the poet is strong. He pleas urgently to God and asks him to come hastily to his salvation (The KJV gives a literal translation: make haste unto me). The circumstances must be very threatening.
