Commentary on Psalm 74:21 (Summary)

Psalm 74:21 (ESV)

21 Let not the downtrodden turn back in shame; let the poor and needy praise your name.

The psalmist asks if the downtrodden would have to be disappointed. He pleads that the poor and the needy might be heard and that they would praise God’s name. It looks as if God left them to their own devices, giving them little reason to praise him.
