Commentary on Psalm 74:16–17 (Summary)

Psalm 74:16–17 (ESV)

16 Yours is the day, yours also the night; you have established the heavenly lights and the sun.

God’s might is further described by the psalmist: day and night belong to him (Genesis 1:5). He fixed the boundaries of the earth (Genesis 1:6–8; Psalm 104:9) and created the seasons (Genesis 8:22).
