Commentary on Psalm 42:11 (Summary)

Psalm 42:11 (ESV)

11 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

The psalmist recovers hope for the second time with the refrain. The second part of Psalm 42:1 – 43:5 ends with the psalmist placing his confidence in the Lord.
