Zephaniah 2:1–3 (ESV)

1 Gather together, yes, gather, O shameless nation,

The remnant of God’s people are the humble who do what God commands (Zephaniah 2:3). These will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:3, Matthew 5:5; see also Psalm 37:11). The humble will acknowledge the Lord in worship and obedience to his just commands.
