Once again David spoke in the psalms of an event that never took place in his own life. Referencing Psalm 110:1–7, Peter explains that this Psalm is about the ascension of Jesus. Jesus is the Lord (Master) of David who has ascended to sit at the right hand of the Lord. The coming of the Spirit at Pentecost is proof of Jesus’ enthronement.1
