God the Holy Spirit works in me to help me trust in God’s promises so that I live with strength and courage (see Hebrews 13:5–6). He also unites me together with other people in a church where he enables me to use my gifts for the well-being of other church members in service to them. (See Heidelberg Catechism, Lord's Day 21.)
