What did the burning bush testify about God?

Exodus 3:2 (ESV)

2 And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.

The burning bush was a clear display of God’s sovereign power over all creation, for only the Creator could control the effects of the flame of fire in such a way that they did not consume the bush and turn its leaves and branches into ash.
