Believers who experience the rejection of people they love need to be encouraged to cling to the great privilege that they have of being “in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” They need to remind one another continually of the reality of God’s love and presence so that the rejection of the world seems far less significant than the privilege of belonging to God.
